Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital services and applications, such as real-time gaming, virtual reality, and autonomous systems, has amplified the demand for ultra-low latency content delivery networks (CDNs). Traditional CDN architectures face challenges in meeting these demands due to limitations in proximity to end users and network capabilities. This paper explores next-generation CDN architectures designed to leverage the transformative potential of 5G technology. By integrating edge computing, network slicing, and massive connectivity, 5G-enabled CDNs can achieve unprecedented levels of latency reduction, throughput, and reliability.
